Following a Thread on Hacker News about the Atari 2600 Basic programming cartridge, I found this.. and it brought back a flood of memories writing D&D character generation programs in Basic and saving them to cassette tape.  How times have changed!

We’re all taught that the undifferentiated mass of cells that we all start out as starts to develop chemical gradients that changes gene expression depending upon physical location. Now, it looks like that answer is not sufficient. Cells use the extracellular matrix to push and pull and change. Fascinating!
